         Pueng was arrested on drug charge while she was two-month pregnant. She could hardly foresee herself as a mother while serving the jail term.   

         Her boyfriend visited her once when she was seven-month pregnant. Her son “Yoyo” is now almost three years old but Pueng has never seen her boyfriend since his only visit.

          Having been behind bars for the last two years and a half, Pueng realizes that life as an inmate is tough and lonely. It teaches her to gradually improve herself. Most importantly, she is gratified with the assistance from HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha to herself and her son.

 “I was very excited the day the Princess visited us in prison. I was so delighted I couldn’t hold my tears when the Princess carried Yoyo and hug him. I’ve never dreamed this could happen to me and my son,” recalls Pueng.

  “The Princess, while carrying Yoyo, asked me about my age, the charge against me and my imprisonment term,” recalls Pueng. “I was speechless for a while before managing to reply.”
 Pueng was released from jail on July 21, 2008.
