Justice Perm Sec Signed MOU with Carcel for Clothes Production
Prof. Wisit Wisitsora-at, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Carcel (by Mrs. Anne Veronica Faerge D’Souza, CEO and Founder) on cooperation to develop design and sewing skills for female inmates at the Government Complex.
According to the United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non – custodial Measures of Women Offenders (or Bangkok Rules), Made In Prison IVS Company (Carcel) wishes to support Kamlangjai Project by organizing the “Carcel Garment Production” at Chiang Mai Woman Correctional Institution. All production will be made from Thai silk and distributed on Carcel’s website.
