HRH Princess Bajarakitiyabha kindly opened the 16th Kamlangjai Project at Mae Sot – a small District in Tak Province under the activity "Hug Hernjam Mae Chod" ("Love Mae Sot Prison").
Due to the situation at the border with Burma, majority of inmates were Burmese. Most of them were drug offences; some used for longer working while some related to economic problems with limited of quality of life.
The Princess also opened "Shot Coffee" (bakery and coffee shop) in which the coffee machine was donated by the HRH. The activities were training for future careers included: Life Coach (Volunteer Spirits helped teaching Thai to Burmese and advised on skill of living) wood carving, Gypse card forecast, Singer sewing machine using, Brocading, Senior Care and Healthy Food (Clean Food) which supported by Thai Health Promotion Foundation.
