May 14, 2026 — The Kamlangjai Project, operated by the Justice Innovation Development Division under the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), organised a digital skills development training program for inmates.
Mr Anusorn Namphueng, Commander of Chanthaburi Provincial Prison, presided over the opening ceremony. The training was led by guest speaker Mr Sippawit Khamakam, with a total of 33 inmates participating.
During the session, the instructor provided comprehensive knowledge on starting an online business. Topics included:
- Pre-sales planning and preparation.
- Online sales techniques and Social Commerce (selling via platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LINE OA).
- Creating engaging advertising media (Content).
- Shipping logistics and payment channels.
- Electronic Commerce Registration (DBD Registered).
- Legal guidelines and compliance for online selling.
The "Conquering Online Business" curriculum consisted of 11 Checklists:
- Checklist 1: Finding the right product.
- Checklist 2: Knowing yourself and your competitors (Understanding the business).
- Checklist 3: Understanding the customer's buying journey.
- Checklist 4: Creating catchy content to boost sales.
- Checklist 5: Starting a business easily with Facebook.
- Checklist 6: Expanding sales channels with Instagram.
- Checklist 7: Increasing brand awareness with TikTok.
- Checklist 8: Boosting sales and repeat purchases with LINE OA.
- Checklist 9: How to effectively close a sale.
- Checklist 10: Professional back-office management.
- Checklist 11: E-commerce laws every online seller must know.
At the end of the training, participants took two sets of tests:
- Test 1: A 20-question test by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA).
- Test 2: A 55-question test by the Department of Skill Development.
The answer sheets were submitted for grading, with results to be announced within 10 days. Participants who score 70% or higher will receive a certificate from the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour.
May 15, 2026 — The instructor delivered lectures on professional marketing content creation, branding, and the application of AI in online marketing.
In the afternoon, participants engaged in a hands-on workshop focused on Online Product Presentation Techniques. They were divided into 7 subgroups and practised live streaming using products from the Chiang Mai Women's Correctional Institution.
The session highlighted 9 Essential Live Streaming Techniques:
- Preparation: Using extra equipment to add colour and fun.
- Content Prep: Planning the script and flow.
- Grabbing Attention: Enthusiastic openings, welcoming viewers, stating objectives, displaying products, and introducing special offers.
- Encouraging Participation: Getting the audience involved.
- Interactive Stimulation & Demos: Interacting with viewers while demonstrating the product.
- Clear Objectives: Creating curiosity and reiterating goals to emphasise special deals.
- Viewer Retention: Keeping the audience engaged continuously and including surprises.
- Closing the Sale: Using limited-time offers or order limits to prompt immediate action.
- Post-Live Actions: Creating highlight clips or short videos for TikTok and encouraging customers to share product reviews to verify quality.
The afternoon concluded with a Live Commerce Competition, where participants were regrouped into 5 teams to pitch products or services:
- Group 1: Carved Flip-Flops Team
- Group 2: Woven Sedge Bags Team
- Group 3: "CC by Lady" Perfume Team
- Group 4: Lucky Keychains Team
- Group 5: Therapeutic Massage Team
All 5 groups delivered highly engaging presentations, successfully applying the techniques learned during the training. Group 1 emerged as the winner, successfully executing all 9 live streaming techniques while delivering a captivating presentation that thoroughly impressed both the audience and the judges.
