26 July 2020 – Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Ratchasarinee Siripatchara Maha Watchara Ratchathida kindly visited Lamphun Provincial Prison.
There are 2,345 male and 296 female inmates at the Correctional Institution (totally 2,641 as of 23 July 2020). The Institution has been engaged in the Bangkok Rules by (1) paying attention on both physical and mental development (2) creating and training the future career (3) preparing for the released; and (4) providing health service inside the place, especially to control the pandemic of corona virus.
The Health & Share Corner has variety of books which were donated from Chiang Mai Women Correctional Institution and various hospitals, the inmates could borrow over the night and return on the next day.
