Doi Hang under Kamlangjai visited Doi Tung
Doi Hang Temporary Prison’ inmates under Kamlangjai project with correctional officers visited Doi Tung Development Project under the Royal Initiative which separated into 4 areas: weaving factory, Mulberry paper plant, ceramic factory and coffee factory on 20 March 2018. Doi Tung Project emphasizes on (1) local employment which mixes folk wisdom with professional designers, prefer human to machine; and (2) 2 main markets are department stores/stores and Doi Tung shops.
In the afternoon, they tasted Doi Tung coffee and exchanged experiences with local people under Doi Tung Development Project whose previous careers were shifting cultivation, opium cultivation, illegal arms trade and misleading about drugs.
